If you have the MD5 checksum value of files, you can verify them.
To calculate file MD5 value:
- Click "Make file MD5" tab page.
- Click "Select files to calculate MD5" button to select files you want to calculate MD5 values.
- The MD5 values of each file will be listed in the list box.
Before verifying files integrity, you should make a check file to save the checksums of files.
To make check file of a folder:
- Click "Make check file" tab page.
- Click browser button to select a folder which you want to verify files integrity in the future. If you want to verify files of sub folders, please check "Include sub folders" option.
- Click "Make check file" button, and the operation begins. The result of the check file will be saved in the CheckSum.md5 file of the selected folder.
Verifying check file is very easy. Just select the check file you have made and verify it.
To verify check file:
- Click "Verify check file" tab page.
- Click browser button to select a check file which contains the file checksums you want to verify.
- Click "Verify check file" button, and the operation begins. The result of files integrity verification will show in the text box.
