DigitByte Studio Photo Slide Show 3.1.1.0 Portable

DigitByte Studio Photo Slide Show can easily create slide show with higher resolution than DVD, convert digital photos to video and create stunning slide show with transition effects.
A space-efficient download and a large library of transition effects boost what is otherwise an average slide-show-creation tool. Photo Slide Show's nonresizable interface is rather bland and businesslike, but has clearly labeled icons for all its important features, as well as a preview window. Creating a slide show from your digital photos and adding a soundtrack is a painless affair. The application lets you specify the length of each slide and transition. We were impressed with the wealth of available transitions and were glad to be able to choose whether to apply them at random or in a designated order. Once you're happy with your creation, you can change the resolution and save it in a number of different video codecs. We also should note the trial version won't let you make a slide show longer than one minute. Still, Photo Slide Show offers enough functionality to please the majority of users.

The main features include:
  • Convert digital photo and music collection to AVI file
  • Provide dozens of transition effects
  • Support photo format: BMP, JPEG, GIF, TGA
  • Support audio farmat : MP3, WAV, WMA, MPA, MP2, AU, AIF, AIFF, SND
  • Open compression system for video and audio
  • Output AVI file with higher resolution than DVD
  • Real-time preview slide show
  • Version 3.3 or later supports to output wmv or mkv format if extra codecs are installed.
Requirements

Basic Software:
  • Microsoft Windows 98/Me/NT/2000/XP/2003/VISTA
  • DirectX 8.1 or later
  • If the output video format is AVI, DivX codec is recommended as the video compressor.
Additional Software:

If the output video format is WMV: If the program get the error message "Failed to load wmvcore.dll" when it is launching, please install Windows Media Format Runtime 9.5.
Note: Windows XP/VISTA has included WMV encoder itself. The later the service pack version of Windows
is, the later the wmv encoder version is. But for the previous version such as Windows NT/98/2000/ME, if
you do not install the latest service packs or Windows Media Format Runtime library, there is not wmv
encoder in the Windows. The program will automatically detect your Windows Media Format Runtime version
after you install the program and give you a hint whether to install it. Or run getdxver.exe under the program
directory. Please install the proper Windows Media Format Runtime if you get the error messages.
If the output video format is MKV, MKV codec is needed.
